Billy Leap! The members of Switzerland County EMS have nominated Billy Leap of near Vevay for this week’s “Good for You” award.
Randy See of Switzerland County EMS writes: “Our department would like to nominate Billy Leap for the ‘Good for You!’ award.
“Who do you call when you have a flat tire on an ambulance early Sunday morning on Memorial Day weekend? Billy Leap of the Jeff-Craig Fire Department, of course.
“We caught a piece of metal in our ambulance tire on the way home from the hospital. We were afraid that the ambulance would have to be out of service until Tuesday because of the holiday weekend.
“But one call to Billy Leap and he was there in minutes and repaired our tire. Thanks for your help, Billy, and your community concern.”
