Chester Ogle and Mark Scott! Tammy Thayer and the staff of Friendship State Bank in Vevay has nominated county residents Chester Ogle and Mark Scott for this week’s “Good for You” award.
Tammy Thayer writes: “We would like to nominate Chester Ogle and Mark Scott for the ‘Good for You’ award.
” On Friday, December 23rd, the staff at Friendship State Bank wondered how dark would Christmas be without a well lit tree? Ours was dark because our fuse had blown and no extra could be found
“Our first attempt for help was Chester Ogle. He went all around town but no fuse could be found. Sadly, he returned with nothing but our old, blown fuse.
“The came Mark Scott, and he knew that he would have a fuse to brighten our day and light our tree. He left for home and returned with a fuse in hand. Just like an elf at Christmas, under the tree he went to fix our lights, and the new fuse lit the tree and brightened our faces.
No Scrooge could be found at Friendship in Vevay this year, thanks to Chester and Mark.”
