Nate Engledow and Chris See! Stephanie Stewart has nominated Nate Engledow and Chris See of the Switzerland County EMS for this week’s “Good for You” award.
Stephanie Stewart writes: “I would like to nominate Nate Engledow and Chris See for the ‘Good for You’ award.
” Recently a fire call came in that the Fairway Inn across from Belterra was on fire. Nate Engledow and Chris See were the EMTs on duty and responded to the call. Upon their arrival, they discovered that the fire was contained in one room.
“They immediately pulled the fire alarm, and evacuated the building. Nate then assisted the front desk clerk to positively account for all occupants; while Chris extinguished the fire with fire extinguishers.
“The East Enterprise Fire Department soon arrived and took over the fire operations and ventilated the smoke from the building.
“The damage was confined to one room and the building was safely evacuated thanks to the quick actions of Nate and Chris.”
