The Switzerland County High School varsity golf team is wrapping up its regular season as it prepares to participate in the ORVC conference golf match tomorrow (Friday).
Last Wednesday the Pacers participated in the Rising Sun Invitational held at Grand Victoria, and finished fourth with a team score of 209.
Milan won the match with a score of 180; followed by South Ripley with a score of 181 and Rising Sun with a score of 190.
Individually, Tanner Ross led the Pacers with a score of 48; followed by Daniel Welch with a 52; Zack Daugherty with a 54; Corey McFarland with a 55; and Jeff Mullins with a 56.
Jared Rogers of South Ripley was the invitational’s medalist with a score of 38.
Last Thursday night the Pacers entertained Rising Sun in a dual match at Belterra. Rising Sun finished with a score of 185; while Switzerland County finished with a 199.
Corey McFarland was the low scorer for the Pacers with a 46; followed by Daniel Welch with a 50 and Tanner Ross with a 51. Zack Daugherty had a 52; and Jeff Mullins finished with a 65.
Nick Campanello of Rising Sun was the match medalist with a 45.
