Girls golf team splits pair of matches

The girls varsity golf team from Switzerland County High School played two matches during the past week, splitting the two events.

Last Thursday, August 9th, the Lady Pacers finished second with a team score of 220 behind South Dearborn, who recorded a score of 170. Lawrenceburg also participated, but did not have enough players to record a team score.

Individually for Switzerland County, Morgan Ross and Jenna Daugherty each finished with a 54; while Tiffany Lucas had a 55. Kelsi South and Emily Lanman each had a 57; while Laci Daugherty had a 61; Karoline Park had a 68; and Hilary Lanman had a 68.

On Monday, August 13th, Switzerland County won a three-way meet with a score of 207; defeating Jac-Cen-Del (210) and Southwestern (230).

The Lady Pacers were led by Morgan Ross and Tiffany Lucas, who each fired a 49; while Jenna Daugherty had a 52. Emily Lanman and Laci Daugherty each had a 57; Karoline Park had a 58; Kelsi South had a 59; and Hilary Lanman had a 66.
