Girls golf team readies for Sectional

The Switzerland County girls varsity golf team will be playing in the IHSAA Golf Sectional this Saturday at Bedford, and the Lady Pacers are wrapping up their regular season with some matches.

On Wednesday, September 9th, the Lady Pacers finished second in a three-way match with Southwestern and Lawrenceburg at Hidden Valley.

Southwestern finished with a score of 218; followed by Switzerland County with 248.

For the Lady Pacers, Tiffany Lucas led the way with a 53; followed by Karoline Park with a 55.

Hilary Lanman finished with a 68; and Courtney Roland had a 72.

On Thursday, September 10th, the Lady Pacers played a dual match at Belterra with South Ripley, falling by a score of 190-240.

For Switzerland County, senior Tiffany Lucas led the way with a 51; followed by Karoline Park with a 57.

Hilary Lanman and Whitney Robinson each had scores of 66; and Courtney Roland added a 68.

On Tuesday of this week, the Lady Pacers participated in a three-team event at Sunrise Golf Course.

South Ripley won the match with a team score of 204; followed by Madison with a 208 and Switzerland County with a 240.

Tiffany Lucas had a 50 to lead the Lady Pacers; while Karoline Park finished with a 56. Hilary Lanman added a 66; Courtney Roland had a 68; and Whitney Robinson finished with a 72.
