The Switzerland County girls varsity golf team finished off a successful season on Saturday by finishing eighth overall in the IHSAA Golf Sectional held in Bedford, Indiana.
The Lady Pacers finished with a team score of 473 over the hilly Otis Park course; defeating Madison, Mitchell, and Trinity Lutheran and narrowly falling to Seymour.
Individually, senior Jenna Daugherty led the squad with an 18-hole total of 107, missing out on an opportunity to advance to the regional as an individual.
Junior Tiffany Lucas fired a 118; while senior Emily Lanman and sophomore Karoline Park each recorded scores of 124. Senior Kelsi South finished with a 126.
Jennings County won the sectional with a score of 374; followed by Salem with 402 and Brownstown Central with 409.
Southwestern finished fifth overall with a score of 424.
