The freshman boys basketball team continued to learn and develop over the past week, falling in two contests.
On Monday night, the Pacers lost to Batesville by a final score of 36-12.
Kyle Konkle led Switzerland County with eight points and two rebounds; while Nathan Hunter added two points and two rebounds and Chance Grubbs had two points and two rebounds.
Dakota Taylor led the team with six rebounds; while Sean Oatman had four rebounds in the contest; T.J. White had three rebounds and a block; and Michael Savage had three rebounds and a steal.
On Tuesday night the freshmen bounced back with a close 25-23 loss to Jac-Cen-Del.
Sean Oatman led the team with eight points and two steals; while Kyle Konkle had six points, two blocks, and two rebounds.
Justus Powell had four points, three rebounds, and two steals; Nathan Hunter had two points; and Dakota Taylor had two points and two rebounds. Tanner Jones chipped in one point.
Chance Grubbs finished with a team-high six rebounds.
The Pacer record now stands at 1-7 on the year.
