Freshman pick up big win over Milan

The freshman boys basketball team from Switzerland County High School notched a big win on Monday night with a 43-30 victory over Milan.

“We avenged a loss from earlier this season and I would have to say that this was a total team win,” Coach Sean McGarvey said. “Everyone got into the game and contributed quality minutes.”

Nathan Smith led the Pacers with 15 points, and also added three assists, two rebounds, and a steal.

Brady Scudder had six points, three rebounds, and two steals; Calen Otter had six points and two steals; Josh Yeary had six points, three assists, and four steals; and Anthony Dasis also had six points to go along with four rebounds and three steals.

Anthony Dennis had three points and three steals; and Fred Wilson chipped in a point.

Steven Craig also played well, contributing two assists, five rebounds, and two steals in the contest.

The freshman record now stands at 6-3 overall.
