Freshman girls team drops two games

The Switzerland County High School freshman girls basketball team suffered two defeats this week, playing a junior varsity team on Monday night and the largest school in the area on Tuesday.

On Monday night, the Lady Pacers traveled to Henryville to play the Lady Hornets jayvee team prior to the Henryville-Medora varsity game. Henryville won by a final score of 56-25.

Becca Sittloh was the leading scorer for Switzerland County, finishing with 10 points; and Emma Clements had six. Shana Gaylord had four points; Kaitlyn Darling and Hilary Lanman had two points each; and Karoline Park chipped in one point.

On Tuesday night, the Lady Pacers traveled to East Central, and after being behind just two points at the half, fell by a final score of 33-13.

Becca Sittloh was again the leading scorer, finishing with seven points; while Paige Kelly had four points and Emma Clements added two.
