The Switzerland County boys freshman basketball team defeated ORVC rival Jac-Cen-Del on Monday night in an overtime thriller, 38-37.
Zach O’Neal led the Pacers with 16 points, and also added two rebounds and a steal. Allen Chase was also in double figures, finishing with 11 points, and 10 rebounds.
Blake Whitham had six points, two assists, four rebounds, and a steal; Cody Hoffman, Damon Robbins, and Adam Clark had two points each; and Ernie Lipperd added one point.
The win pushed the freshman record to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
Sean McGarvey is the team’s coach, and the Pacers return to action tonight (Thursday) at Rising Sun.

On Wednesday, November 28th, the freshman Pacers defeated Southwestern by a final score of 34-29.
Allen Chase had 12 points to lead Switzerland County; while Zach O’Neal was also in double figures with 10.
Ernie Lipperd and Blake Whitham each finished with four points; Damon Robbins and Adam Clark each added two; and Cody Hoffman contributed one point.
