Freshman beat Milan, four in double figures


The Switzerland County High School freshman boys basketball team saw four players score in double figures in a 68-14 pasting of Milan on Monday night.

Tyler Queen led the Pacers with 18 points, and also added four rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Alex Curran finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and one steal; and Clint Swanson added 13 points, two steals, and a rebound.

Trevor Smith finished with 10 points, four steals, three rebounds, and two assists; Alex Galbreath had four points, three steals, and a rebound; and Dalton Scudder and Chris Morris each finished with three points.

Averi Fultz added two points, two steals, two rebounds, and one assist.

“This was a total team victory,” Coach Sean McGarvey said. “Everyone made positive contributions to the win.”

The win upped the freshman record to 2-0 overall.
