The Florence Church of Christ Community Picnic will be Saturday September 24th at the church yard. Fun in the afternoon and food will be ready at 5 p.m. Zach Shelton and 64 to Grayson will have music at 7 p.m. Come and enjoy.

Andrea Brogan’s, Aunt Wilma Dennis gave her a lovely wedding shower Saturday at the Jack Sullivan Senior Center. The decorations and food were really pretty and delicious. I didn’t get to go, so they sent me some wonderful food and home made candy. Everyone had a good time. Thanks, Andrea – and congratulations.

There was a gathering of about 50 people on September 17th to celebrate Sherry Johnson 75th birthday at New Liberty Baptist Church. Happy Birthday, Sherry.

Jim and Rita Brogan and their dogs had a nice vacation in Gatlinburg last week.

Casey, Sheila and Tiffany Rininger and Frank and Megan Rininger spent the weekend in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. They visited by phone with Jim and Linda Austin while there. Hi Jim and Linda.

Janet Boggs visited Margaret Lee Weidmann last week with a birthday present and card. Kay O’Neal took Margaret Lee to AJ’s for lunch compliments of Barry O’Neal, Kay’s son. Earl and Jerilyn Van Winkle brought Margaret Lee a delicious old time home cooked meal and had a nice visit. I think Margaret Lee had a happy birthday and she says thanks.

Lorraine Brown and brothers Floyd and John Wiltz from Oregon and Barry Smith from North Carolina are vacationing in Panama City. Randy and Ryan Brown are spending time and taking care of Margaret Lee while Lorraine is gone.

Keith Little is in Kentuckiana Hospital with a heart issue. He had some stints put in. Dale Thompson is in an Indianapolis hospital waiting to be moved to Columbus after a fall. Get well wishes for Keith and Dale; and for Dana Einhaus, Tracy Seale, Shirley Bruce, Cory Rininger, Patty Chase, Rhonda Scott, Caleb Claypoole and many others.
