The town of Florence will have a meeting tonight (Thursday, September 21st) at 6:30 p.m. at the church to continue planning the 200 year celebration.
Gayle Lowe and Jerrie Lowe were okay in the Florida hurricane. I haven’t heard from anyone else.
Teresa Turner’s grandson, one month old Jaydon Alan York had surgery and is now in the hospital with a heart problem. Keep him in your prayers.
Denny and Mary Lou Bowman’s 18 year old granddaughter, Lybbi Heffelfinger from Dillsboro, was in a serious auto accident last week and is still in U.C. Hospital. She had surgery two times on her hand that was crushed and is scheduled for head or brain surgery. Keep her and the family in your prayers.
Eddie Gregory visited the hospital Saturday night with an acute pancreatic attack. He is recovering at home with lots of medicine. I doubt if I spelled that right. Keep him in your prayers.
Carolyn Lowe and Janet Brown went to Madison Sunday and visited Beverly Davis.
Leona Adams and Patty Chase visited with Conrad Chaskel at the Chaskel house in Florence. The Chaskels live in Ohio but visit here often. He wants to share the history of their place with the Florence Bicentennial Party. It is a lovely house with a lot of history.

The sale of the Jonas Keith property in Florence will be Saturday September 23rd. They will have a lot of good household and other things to offer.
The Florence Church of Christ Community Picnic will be Saturday, September 23rd at the church yard. Beginning at 4 p.m. with the meal at 5 p.m. Everyone welcome. Ladies bring desserts.
