Reta Gray’s grandson’s speech was really good. She put it in last weeks paper. Good luck to him for a good future.

Loader Little, Jean and Keith Little’s dog had surgery and is doing very well. He visited Patty Chase as she was having coffee and toast on her porch. He shared the toast. Jean said several called about him. Get well to him.

Saylor Ray Smith was born June 24th 2016 to D.J. Wilhoite and Devin Smith of Vevay. Riley Joe Smith is his proud big brother. Maternal grandparents are Debbie Wilhoite and Darin White of Vevay. Paternal grandparents are Jack Smith and the late Mary Ann McAllister Smith of East Enterprise. He weighed seven pounds, nine ounces. Congratulations.

Juanita McClellan Brown of Westport, formerly of Florence, called to say how grateful she is for all the cards, prayers and thoughts from her friends in Switzerland County. She is feeling better after her fall a few months ago and said she is “back on the road again”. She thanks everyone for the over 30 cards from her old home town. She also thanks God for being with her.

Pete Lowe is still at the rehabilitation center in Louisville waiting for results from his test and recovering slowly. Carolyn and family are spending a lot of time with him.

Guests of Bud and Betty Hargrove were Darrell and Peggy Stoll, Brad, Connie and Chris Miller, Linda Jones, P. J. and Annie and the kids and Jerry Jewell.

June 29th they celebrated Peggy’s 80th birthday and all went to the Cincinnati Reds ball game and enjoyed O’Charley’s after the game in Florence, Kentucky. Connie, Brad and Chris went on to the Newport Aquarium.

Betty, Connie, Brad and Chris visited Ginny Leap in her new home in Vevay. It was Connie’s home while she was a baby. She was happy to get to see it. Thanks Ginny.

Johnny Dale and Kim Lock, Shauna and Dylan McClure and Brittany Lock came from West Lafayette and stayed at the Fairway Inn to visit Nina Lock and Family. Kay Lock and family and Patty Chase for the funeral of Johnny Dale’s dad John L. Lock. We all had good vista and send our sympathy to the family.
