The Florence area people met last Wednesday at the Florence Church of Christ to make plans for the 200th birthday party for the town. Many good ideas were tossed around and we need to set a Saturday afternoon date, maybe in September or October. Come and help us if you have a good story or picture of the past. Please pass this information along to friends or relatives of families who lived here years ago. The next meeting will be Thursday, July 13th, at the church.
