Denny and Mary Lou Bowman visited Patty Chase in Florence on Friday evening. Denny did some chores for her. Patty had a nice visit with Barbara Purnell and friend Dean at Fairway Inn. They are in from Florida visiting in the area.
The Gallatin Nursing and Rehab parking lot in Warsaw, Kentucky was the place for the White Castle Sandwich truck to be last Thursday. Ken and Sylvia Byars, Glenda Sullivan, Patty Chase, Roy and Bonnie Duckworth and many local residents had a good lunch. They may be back again and I’ll try to get it in new in time for all of us to go over their again.
Ed and Debbie Gregory had a good lunch at Captain Hooks in Carrollton last week.
LoriAnn Lozier and Mike Johnson visited LeAnn Lozier at her new home in Georgetown, Kentucky last week. Judy Lozier also visited her on different days.
Roy and Bonnie Duckworth met Mark and Rhonda Scott at Hardy Lake last week for a nice weekend. Mark said it was nice with the flowers blooming and the birds singing as they enjoyed hiking. They also enjoyed their air conditioner.
Tracy Seale was 50 on Thursday. Jennifer Craig took her lunch from Frisch’s and cookies and flowers on her birthday. Richard and Janet Sullivan, Clayton and Devin Seale and Sondra Hyde also visited her Thursday evening with her favorite fish sandwich from Pizza Hut. Clayton and Devin took her to the Crossroads restaurant at Versailles on Sunday for a birthday surprise with Richard and Janet Sullivan, Jeanette and Squeaky Knaus, Christy Knaus, Addie Hinman, Cindy Gets, Sondra Hyde, Patty Chase and Glenda Sullivan. She received several gifts, cards, calls and birthday wishes on Facebook. Her husbands birthday was Saturday. Happy Birthday to Tracy and Clayton.
The Switzer Square residents enjoyed the lasagna dinner from the Center Square Baptist Church. They send 37 dinners from the 4-H fair on Tuesday night when they were serving it at the community building.
Lee Ann Bush, Kelsey Bush and baby and Braxton May, Glenda Sullivan visited Patty Chase and brought a pizza one afternoon.
April (Gray) Konkle, Kenley, Kaiden and Coulton of Lafayette spent the past week with Jeff Gray and family members. They attended the 4-H fair and stayed for the birth of Noel and Bridgette Gray’s son Jaxon Jeffrey Gray who was born on early Friday morning. He weighed 9 lbs 8 1/2 ounces and was over 22 inches long. They are home and doing good. He joins his brother Axel Gray at home.
