I had a nice visit with Mary Davenport’s granddaughter Amy Guidry and her husband David and daughter Addison from Charleston. Mary used to live in Markland and Amy said she always liked to read her name in the Vevay paper.

Hazel Wilkerson, Nell Cayton, Richard and Janet Sullivan and Donna and Nathan Hughes called on Glenda Sullivan last week. Glenda visited Pete and Carolyn Lowe on Sunday. Janet and Richard Sullivan visited Marjorie Whitham at Swiss Villa last Saturday. Glenda stopped in to see Marjorie after the Center Square Baptist Church service at Swiss Villa Sunday.

The Truitt Reunion will be Sunday, July 17th at Sherry Johnson’s home.

Jodie Winslow of Rising Sun sent me a really pretty “Red Hat Bag’. She said she reads about the Red Hats. Thanks Jodie. I have lost your address. Call or send it again.

Cheryl Messmore spent last weekend with her mom Margaret Lee Weidmann and family. Other company was Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown and Rebecca, Kay O’Neal, Bryan, Melody, Mollie, Shawn, Lisa and Paul Messmore. Bobby and Diane Brown spent Thursday night overnight and took the family out for supper and a good visit.

Pete Lowe is recovering at home and waiting for test results. His twin sister Wilma, and Dave Hamamy from Cleveland Ohio came to visit. Many others have visited and Carolyn and Erin thank everyone for all their visits and support. Keep them in your prayers.

Lura Patterson Smith of Fishers called a couple of weeks ago to say she saw Dorothy Nichols name in the Vevay paper obituary column and that Dorothy’s dad was the preacher at the Florence Christian Church many years ago. His name was S. E. Wells for those that might remember them. Thanks Lura for your news.

Ken and Sylvia Byars, Charles and Albert Pickett, Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Gary and Karen Wentworth, David Wentworth, Don Smith, Patty Chase, Glenda Sullivan and Judy Lozier enjoyed lunch in Kentucky Sunday to celebrate Gary’s birthday.

Our get well list includes: Pete Lowe, Dale and Danilee Thompson, Gary Wentworth, Peggy Eckerty, Joe Cleaver, Jose Guiterrez, Barbara McCreary, and all in need.

Sympathy to the families of our good friends Tonya Reeder, Raymond Peters and Tom Williams.

Rick and Shelly Adams from Nebraska spent a few days with Richard and Leona Adams. Richard and Rick had a good father and son get together.
