Thank you Warsaw, Kentucky for the great display of fireworks. The Florence Church of Christ bunch and friends gathered at the old Florence ferry landing in Indiana and enjoyed snacks and drinks while waiting for dark. It was really nice with the boats on the river and music from Warsaw. Attending were: Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Kiersten and Kaden McClure, Glenda Sullivan, Patty Chase, Charles and Alberta Pickett, Nadine Swift, Dale and Danilee Thompson, Leona Adams, Paul James and friend, Frank Rininger and family and the Bogards family from Lamb and many more.
Judy, LeAnn and Lori Lozier attended the fair in Georgetown, Kentucky two weeks ago; and Judy and Lori spent last weekend in Tybee Island, Georgia.
Casey, Sheila and Tiffany Rininger just returned home after visiting Casey’s family in Alabama for a couple of weeks.
The Center Square Baptist Church had a service at Swiss Villa Sunday and enjoyed singing.
Roger Green of Scottsburg visited his sister Barbara and Dusty Peaster and Bobby Lutes in Markland to celebrate his birthday.
Patty and Glenda went to the Marjorie Ralston visitation in Madison and had a nice visit with Gayla Smith and Mary Leo Archer.
I am still not well but I’m at home and want to thank Glenda Sullivan, Denny and Mary Lou Bowman and others for taking care of me. Also thanks to Glenda, Pat Lanman, Tammy and Erin for helping me get the news to them.
Beverly Davis visited Carolyn Lowe and came to church at Florence on Sunday.
Marc Duckworth visited with Bonnie and Roy Duckworth and brought little Maggie to visit overnight. Maggie came to church and went with the church bunch for lunch in Kentucky.
Cheryl Messmore was chosen best resident where she lives in Kentucky. She will be mentioned at the minor league game at Freedom ball park in Florence, Kentucky on July 19th at 6:30 and she will throw out the first pitch. Her family will be there with their cameras.
Margaret Lee Weidmann’s company was Joe Johnson. Her and Joe always re-live working at the shoe factory with Bob Strasbaugh as their boss. Good times. Her other company was Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown.
