It has been beautiful weather for January.
Nora Gross’ little twin great-granddaughters are still in Good Samaritan Hospital and doing really well. They were born early and each weighed under two pounds. Parents are John and Tasha DeBaun. Keep them in your prayers.
Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Michelle, Kiersten and Kaden McClure went to Cambridge, Ohio, for a two-day Church Leaders Conference. They had a great time visiting old friends and family. They brought back CD’s of t he sessions for others to hear.
Frances Pike, Roy, Barbara and Derrick Keith, Jonas Keith, Larry and Ruth Keith, Sarah McCreary, Juanita Koons, Paul and Hazel Knaus, Bobby Marsh, Dennis and Phyllis Chase, Rick Chase, Chrissie Stewart, Rod, Justin and Nate Chase and others from the area went to the visitation and/or services in Rising Sun for Harold Chase of Cleves, Ohio last week. Sympathy to the family.
Ivan and Dollie Green went to the visitation for Karen Huber last week.
Sympathy also for the Norma Campbell family. She was Wilma Webb’s sister and Brenda Heine’s aunt. Brenda lives on Florence Hill Road.
Sympathy to the family of Billy Ray Osburne of Kentucky. He was Liesha Castle’s dad. Liesha is our friend from the Swiss Bowling Lanes. Patty Chase, Glenda Sullivan and others went to his visitation in Carrollton.
Sorry to hear that Kenny Clemons’ wife Jean passed away. They lived in Versailles. Kenny was my classmate in Vevay. I know Jean will be missed. Sympathy to the family.
The Center Square Baptist Church had a service and lots of singing for the residents of Swiss Villa Sunday. It was a good day.

Garnet Keith called to say her grandson, Josh Keith of Indianapolis just got his master’s degree and is moving to Florida for employment. He is Paul and Sharon Keith’s son. They helped him move and are back from Florida now. They live in Versailles.
LeeAnn and Emily Bush, Glenda Sullivan, Denny Bowman and Leo Hammond visited Patty Chase last week. Patty met a lovely lady last week, Dottie Hursey. She had just finished making up some beautiful flower arrangements. It was also good to visit with Bill and Jackie Hill Sunday in Vevay while having lunch.
Betty Hargrove, Linda Jones and P.J. Jones visited Billy Leap in Anderson last w eek. Billy has been in the hospital again and has been pretty sick. Keep him in your prayers.
We will miss the good food at Los Bandidos. They have closed and will probably open somewhere else. We wish them good luck for their next venture.
