Nadine Swift joined Glenda Sullivan and Patty Chase for lunch and a nice visit Thursday in Vevay. Patty Chase was visiting with Wendy at Wendy’s in Vevay and met two lovely young ladies; Abby Bays and Alexia Ahaus also shopping and really enjoying the unique things Wendy has to offer.
Jodie Winslow of Rising Sun has returned from a nice visit with her sister Judy and David in San Antonio, Texas.
Patty got a nice phone call from her classmates and president Jerry McKenzie. He lives in Michigan and always reads the Vevay paper and likes to find stuff out in my column about our classmates.
Saturday afternoon Cindy Geis of Greensburg visited Carolyn Lowe, Glenda Sullivan, and Jerri Lowe. While in Vevay Cindy, Jerri and Carolyn had lunch at The Kooky Coconut and said it was really good. Later Cindy called on Tracey Seale at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison and took her a pizza and some breadsticks from Roxano’s. Cindy visited Greg and Grace Earl while in Madison.
Two year old Maggie Duckworth from Kentucky spent last week with grandparents, Bonnie and Roy Duckworth. Other grandchildren Kiersten and Kaden McClure also spent a couple of days with them.
Have you seen the pretty bright yellow building across form the court house in Vevay? It is the Kooky Coconut. I visited there on Saturday and got some wonderful food. Ginger Kincaid is the owner and her intent is to make healthy food for all of us.
We extend our sympathy to the families of Kenny Clements, Eddie Konkle, Hardly McKenzie, Alvin Cole, Jean Sandidge for the loss of her brother in Kentucky and all others I’ve missed.
