We enjoyed working with the voting travel team. I hope it worked out for everyone to get there at the right time and use their privilege to vote.

The Kentucky Derby will be Saturday, May 7th. We always enjoy that on TV.

Faye Lewis will celebrate her 98th birthday May 15th. She is visiting with the Annette Sandidge Deno family for a while. Lets send her a birthday card at: 1853 Man O War Drive in West Lafayette, Indiana, 47906. She will be surprised.

Glenda Sullivan is recovering well after her therapy at Swiss Villa. She went to visit Margie Whitham at Swiss Villa Thursday and was glad to visit with all the people who worked with her and got her back on the road again. They were all glad to see her, too. Glenda’s other company last week was Donna Hughes, Richard and Janet Sullivan, Annette Deno and Patty Chase.

Charles and Alberta Pickett, Kenny Clements, Patty Chase, Glenda Sullivan, Sheila and Tiffany Rininger met for breakfast Friday and had a nice visit with Evelyn Davidson, Lucille Konkle, Janice Ramsey, Martha Sloan, Gladys Lucas and Marilyn Owens. It was a good morning. Patty and Glenda also got to visit with Cliff and Joy Higgins from Warsaw earlier. Janice Ramsey told them that Juanita McClellan Brown is out of the doctors care and doing well at home in Westport. Glad to hear that.

Margaret Lee Weidmann’s company was Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown, Kay O’Neal, Teresa Lyons and Jane Johnson. Lorraine Brown will have surgery in Louisville Thursday (today) Keep her in your prayers.

Richard and Leona Adams enjoyed the Blue Bells performance at the Hoosier Theatre Saturday night. The Music Club will have a performance at the Hoosier Theatre on May 10th.

Paul James spent several days with Richard and Leona Adams. If anyone knows of a grave that needs a flag for Memorial Day please call Richard at (812) 594-9141.

Bonnie Duckworth told me that the Switzerland County Elementary School Kindergarten class enjoyed a field trip to the Newport Aquarium Friday.

Roy and Bonnie Duckworth and Verle Truitt visited Genevieve Truitt at Dillsboro Waters on Sunday. Verle and Genevieve were both doing well.

Judy Lozier and Nadine Swift visited Patty Chase on the weekend on different days.

Our prayer list includes John. L. Lock, Mary Jane Rice, Margaret Turner, Mary Lou Bowman, Buster Chase and all in need.

Jarrod Courtney spent some time with me while I was working at the Fairway Inn and he was waiting for his ride. It was a pleasant visit. I also had a nice visit one mooring with Marlene Martin. Ken and Sylvia Byars, Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Charles and Alberta Pickett. Patty Chase and Glenda Sullivan had lunch at the Warsaw Dairy Queen Sunday to celebrate Sylvia’s birthday.

Carroll David Turner called form Minnesota and said he plans to be in Vevay sometime in May. He was in the class of 1954 and hopes to see some of his classmates. I was in that class and hope to see him.
