The Switzerland County Homemakers had a wonderful day at Achievement Day at Aberdeen Church. Those Aberdeen ladies are the best cooks ever. I love the butterscotch pie. I just got a small piece. Next time I’m getting in the dessert line first. I did get to bring Mary Lou Bowman’s cherry delight home with me. That didn’t last long. We had a great time seeing and hearing about the achievements of all the homemakers and meeting new and old friends. We would love to have new members. If you would like o meet new friends and share your homemaking ideas come and join your neighborhood club. Most clubs meet in the daytime but Florence Flowers meet in the evening for the daytime working ladies. Leona Adams, Sylvia Byars, Gladys Hunt, Inez Harker, Sharon Patterson an Patty Chase of the Florence Flowers enjoyed the day.
