Hello from Florence this cold May morning. Soon we will be complaining about the heat.

Richard and Leona Adams are recovering at home from their auto accident and want to thank everyone for their help and prayers.

Mary Lou Bowman is also recovering from her recent surgery. Patty Chase and Glenda Sullivan visited Mary Lou and Denny, Friday. She thinks everyone for their help and prayers. Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Charles and Alberta Pickett, Dale and Danika Thompson, Gary and David Wentworth, Mark Scott, Patty Chase, Glenda Sullivan, Amy Maddox, Michelle, Kiersten and Kaden McClure all met at 88 King Buffet in Madison Sunday to celebrate Roy’s Birthday.

Dale and Danilee Thompson from North Vernon spent the weekend at their home in Florence to help with the work day at the Florence Church of Christ.

The Concord Church sale will be Thursday and Friday, May 19th and 20th at the church between Patriot and Florence. They always have many good items. Hope to see you there from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Glenda Sullivan’s company was Nathan, Donna and Nelson Hughes, Keisha Morton, Patty Chase and Carolyn Lowe, Glenda had a nice visit by pone with her aunt Fay Lewis Saturday to wish her a happy birthday. She was 98 on the 15th. Faye is still visiting with the Deno family in West Lafayette and doing well. Happy birthday Faye from your Switzerland County friends.

Happy Birthday also to Jonas Keith, Roy Duckworth, Tiffany Rininger and all I missed.

Congratulations to LeAnn Lozier for graduating from Northern Kentucky University with a degree in sociology. Judy and LoriAnn Lozier, Cabel Rieselman, and Courtney Roland attended the graduation Saturday afternoon at N.K.U. Good for you LeAnn!

Saturday night Judy, LoriAnn and LeAnn Lozier, Cabel Rieselman, Nancy Johnson and Willis Leach went to Niederland Farm at West Chester, Ohio for the beautiful wedding of Willie’s son Remington Leach to Lindsey McKibben. Congratulations to Remington and Lindsey.

Margaret Lee Weidmann’s company was Donna Miller, Dutchie Scholle, Kay O’Neal, Paul and Jason Messmore, Randy and Ryan Brown.

Lorraine Brown is improving slowly at home from her surgery. Keep her in your prayers.

Carroll David Turner and some friends from Minnesota plan to be in the area at Fairway Inn Friday and Saturday the 20th and 21st. I hope to have a cup of coffee with him and any other classmates or friends. Call me and I’ll have the time.
