  Hello to all my friends.

Patty’s drop-ins this week have been: Denny and Mary Lou Bowman, Martha Sloan, Bruce and Patty Williams, Lana Kelly, Larry Stewart’s daughter and Sandy and Glenda Sullivan.

Sympathy to the family of Janet Daugherty and to the family of Richard Adams.

The stormy weather changed the “Red White and Boom” celebration a couple of times but was finally able to be held on Monday night at the Paul Ogle Riverfront Park. There was lots of good food, music and the fireworks went off as planned and were really beautiful. It was a fun time.

Happy birthday to Wilma Turner, Gary Wentworth and Tracy Seale.

The Center Square Baptist Church had its annual lasagna dinner Tuesday evening at the community building. Lots of people attending the 4-H fair enjoyed a meal; and 27 lasagna, Texas toast, salad and dessert dinners were delivered to the residents of Switzer Square. A great blessing for the residents and likewise for the church members.

Get well wishes to Ramona Miller, Marilyn Owen and Gladys Lucas.

On Friday Mary Archer and Glenda Sullivan went to Madison and stopped by the Waters to see Tracy Seale with her lunch. She will be celebrating her birthday this week so besides her sandwich an Diet Coke, a vanilla milkshake was also taken into her. It was a good visit for all of them.

Sunday lunch was at Tequila’s in Vevay for Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Ken and Sylvia Byars, Gary and David Wentworth, Judy Lozier, Jack Kells, Nancy Johnson, and Glenda Sullivan. Gary Wentworth’s birthday was Sunday. He received lots of wishes and cards. Happy birthday, Gary.

Have a safe and happy week.
