Glenda Sullivan is writing the news for Patty Chase this warm Monday morning. Patty has had a rough week with her health. Right now — as you will see later in this column — she is at Swiss Villa. Prayers for Patty.

Happy Birthday to Nadine Swift, Janet Brown, Steve Konkle, Kenny Chatham, Pam Reed and I’ve got birthday today, also.

On Monday I got a call form my high school classmate, Joy Dean Lee as she was leaving Florida and going to Georgia. She said she would be having a late breakfast with another classmate Lois Fothergill on Tuesday in Atlanta.

Sympathy to the families of Clarence Hunt, Frances Miller, Lucille Phillips, and Butch Konkle. Also on Tuesday morning I got a call about my friend in Cincinnati that worked for U.S. Shoe, Dave Shingle. His wife called to say he passed away early Sunday morning.

Get well prayers for Alice Whitham and Patty Chase, as well as Earl Wayne Furnish.

Saturday, Janet and Linda Brown of Lexington, Kentucky stopped in to see Carolyn Lowe; and also called on James and Rita Brogan.

Friday Mary Archer and Glenda Sullivan visited Tracy Seale at the Waters in Madison. Tracy got a good looking fish sandwich and her large Diet Coke. They all had a nice visit.

From the nursing home Mary and Glenda went to KDH to check on Patty Chase. She was transported from Switzer Square on Wednesday to the hospital. Friday evening she was brought to Swiss Villa for some therapy and other medical care. She is in a room at Swiss Villa with Ora Kay Holiday. Ora is a very nice roommate.

Sunday lunch at Mo’s was attended by Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Gary and David Wentworth, Judy Lozier, Jack Kelly, Nancy Johnson and Glenda Sullivan. They sang Happy Birthday to Glenda and Nancy Johnson bought her lunch. Thanks to all of them for a good day.
