Florence News

  Hello from the Florence area.

We didn’t get much news called in this week. I hope we can get more next week. I can’t walk very good so I need you to call before Sunday as everyone wants to know what we do to keep busy. I am eating a little breakfast while I am writing. I’m having a piece of celery. Don’t that sound like breakfast?

Glenda Sullivan helps with the news so if you see her and have news you can tell her and thank you.

On Wednesday afternoon Maxine Bushmann, Janice Iceberg and Mary Archer called on Ethel Althoff. They enjoyed some good snacks and had a wonderful visit.

Sympathy to the Janice McClure family. Janice is Randy McClure’s mother and Roy and Bonnie Duckworth’s son-in-law.

It was good to have Lana Kelly back to work following her knee surgery.

Get well prayers for Earl Wayne Furnish and many others in our community.

Friday Glenda Sullivan went to see Tracy Seale at The Waters in Madison. Last Sunday Tracy went to her home in North Vernon for a birthday dinner for her and her son, Devin. He was 17 on Wednesday. Clayton and Devin went to Madison to get her.  Richard and Janet Sullivan were also there for Kentucky Fried Chicken and a birthday cake. Happy birthday to Devin.

The lunch bunch from Florence all went their separate ways on Sunday at noon.

Say “thank you” to someone this week.
