Hello and happy holidays from Florence.
Hope everyone has most of their shopping done. I don’t. I enjoy the shopping but am always glad when it’s done. Then the next thing is returning things to the store for the rich size or color. Sometimes that is fun too.
We didn’t get much news called in so I guess everyone in Florence is busy. I know the churches and schools are having their programs. We always enjoy them. Glenda Sullivan said she had some news to add to my column. Thanks to her for that of course she is from Center Square not Florence and lives in Vevay now. I know everyone likes to read her news too.
Sunday Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Ken and Sylvia Byars, Gary, Karen and David Wentworth, Nancy Johnson, Judy Lozier, and Glenda Sullivan had lunch at Tequila’s in Vevay. Glenda took Patty Chase to her lunch at Switzer Square and it was really good.
Richard and Janet Sullivan, Clayton and Devin Seale, Jeanette and Squeaky Knaus, Jennifer Craig and Glenda Sullivan have visited Tracy Seale at the Waters in Madison this week. Tracy enjoys the visits very much and the good food and snacks that are brought to her. While Glenda was there Friday Sondra Hyde who is also a resident at the Waters stopped by Tracy’s room.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Sympathy to the families of Barbara DeNoon, Janet Hankins of Columbus and Jason Hemingway.
Roy and Bonnie Duckworth recently celebrate Randy McClure’s birthday with his family at Harry’s Stone Grill in Madison.
Friday Dave Shinkle of Cincinnati called Glenda to wish her a Merry Christmas. Dave worked out of the U.S. Shoe office in Cincinnati but traveled to the other factories a lot.
Friday evening Roy and Bonnie Duckworth enjoyed an evening of Christians music presented by the Dave Melton family at the Kent Christian Church at Kent, Indiana with Michelle and family.
On Saturday Janet Brown and Linda Brown of Lexington, Kentucky stopped in to see Carolyn Lowe.
