The East Enterprise Fire Department Fish Fry will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on April 14th, everyone’s welcome.
It was a big night at the Historic Hoosier Theater in Vevay Saturday for the showing of “A Girl Named Sooner.” They sold out of tickets early. The board members were there to welcome people I hope they show it again. They even had red carpets and the newspaper reporters there.
We went to the Rising Sun Methodist Church Fish Fry Friday night to meet with Kay Cook, Gink and Mary Ruth Poling, Denny and Mary Lou Bowman and many more old friends. It was really good food and fellowship.
Get well prayers for Beulah Walton. She is my favorite cook at the Aberdeen Church dinner with her wonderful butterscotch pies.
Glenda Sullivan and Patty Chase were in Madison on business Thursday. Glenda visited her niece Tracy Seale at the Waters of Clifty then they had lunch at Captain D’s.
Roy and Bonnie Duckworth enjoyed the fish fry Friday night at the Masonic Hall in Vevay. Sunday they visited Bonnie’s dad, Verle Truitt then went on to the Waters of Dillsboro to visit her mom Genevieve Truitt. Verle also went to see Genevieve.
Judy Lozier’s sister Nancy Johnson of Independence, Kentucky visited her Sunday and they worked in the yard.
Jill and Jade Smith visited Ed and Debbie Gregory Friday evening. Roy Duckworth also visited with them. Gracie Gregory had her 11th birthday. Happy birthday Gracie. Happy April birthday also the Rhonda Scott, LoriAnn Lozier, Loretta Westrick, Kay Cook, Shirley Pike Neal, Buster Chase, Tiffany Thomas, Melissa Duckworth, Vickie Peters, Sharon Deck, Janet Sullivan and Jeanette Knaus.

The Center Square Baptist Church had their monthly service at Swiss Villa Sunday. Several residents came in to enjoy the songs and the Palm Sunday message.
Devin and Clayton Seale, Richard and Janet Sullivan, Sondra Hyde and Glenda Sullivan visited with Tracy Seale during the week at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison.

The Shoe Factory reunion was really well attended. Nathan and Donna Hughes did a great job getting it together. Thanks Nathan and Donna. Others that helped was Carolyn Lowe, Glenda Sullivan, Patty Chase, Alberta Pickett, Mary Lou Furnish, Debbie Keller. Our entertainment was very good songs by Carol Ann Sublett, Jo Konkle and Marsha Patterson. Thanks to them. Just about everyone won a door prize. I won a pretty red chair from the Sheriff’s Office. We had other give away items and good food brought in by guest.
