The Switzerland County Historical Society presented the “Take The River” on screen at the Hoosier Theater last Monday night. It was really interesting and I would like to see it again. I’m sure I missed something in all that detail.
Sunday evening the 19th Tracy and Clayton Seale celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary by having supper at Ponderosa at Madison with Devin Seale, Richard and Janet Sullivan, and Jeanette and Squeaky Knaus. Tracy’s company last week at the Waters of Clifty Falls was: Judy and Steve Malone, Sondra Hyde, Janet and Richard Sullivan and Glenda Sullivan.
Darrell and Peggy Stoll spent the weekend with Bud and Betty Hargrove. Davy and Patty Leap also visited and enjoyed playing cards. Darrell, Peggy and Betty went to the concert at Belterra Saturday night. Everyone said the concert was really good.
J.J. and Gayle Sullivan took a delicious German Chocolate Cake to Betty and Bud. It was Betty’s belated birthday cake. She said thanks to their wonderful friends and family.
Margaret Lee Weidmann’s company included: Kay O’Neal, Allen Devore, Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown and Jason Messmore. She also had a nice phone call with Mary Lou Sloan of Rising Sun.
Patty Chase and Glenda Sullivan went to the visitation for Donna Bailey at Markland Funeral Home. So many friends from the old shoe factory, many from Belterra, everyone from Patriot and many more attended. Donna was a lovely lady and she will be missed. Sympathy to the family.
The shoe factory reunion will be Saturday April 8th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jack Sullivan Senior Citizen Building. Plan on coming and bring friends for good food and door prizes.
Don’t forget the REMC appreciation meeting on Saturday April 1st at South Ripley School.
Dale and Danilee Thompson spent the weekend in Florence. Keep them on your prayer list, also keep Joe Johnson in your prayers.
