  Patty Chase and Glenda Sullivan went to the visitation for Steve Jewell at Morgan and Nay in Madison on Saturday. They got to visit with friends and relatives that they haven’t seen for a while. Steve is Patty’s cousin. Sympathy to the family.

  Patty and Glenda visited with Tracy Seale at the Waters of Clifty Falls on Saturday. Sondra Hyde, Richard and Janet Sullivan and Clayton and Devin Seale also visited Tracy. Glenda visited Patty Sunday evening and attended the Florence Church of Christ and later visited Agnes Wheeler.

  Teresa Turner joined the Florence Church bunch for Sunday lunch right after church Sunday at the Carrollton Mexican Restaurant, Mi Viego. Patty had the pleasure of meeting Barbara Bladen’s son Tommy last week. Barbara used to work at Randell’s in Vevay. He gave me her phone number and we had a nice visit by phone. She lives near Deputy.

  Happy birthday to Betty Hargrove. Her friends and family had a party for her at the American Legion on Saturday.

  The East Enterprise Fire Department will have its fish dinner on Friday March 30th. Ladies: please bring desserts.

  Don’t forget the Vevay Shoe Factory reunion coming up on April 14th. Help us get the word out to former employees as we don’t have much money to advertise. Nathan and Donna Hughes are in charge again this year. If you would like to give anything for the drawing to advertise please call Donna or Glenda Sullivan or Patty Chase and we will pick it up or you can bring it the day of the reunion. It will be at the Jack Sullivan building again.

  Floyd Wiltz of California is visiting his sister Lorraine Brown and family for a few weeks.

  Margaret Lee Weidmann’s company was Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown, Floyd Wiltz, Kay O’Neal,  and Scott Arvin. Steve Bladen brought her some delicious dessert.

  Frank Rininger’s brother-in-law was beaten and robbed when he cashed his paycheck in Cincinnati and was still in very serious condition on Sunday. Keep him in your prayers.

  Brenda, Jacey and Jeremy Peelman visited Patty Chase on Sunday. Jeremy did some chores for her.

  Charles and Alberta Pickett visited Frank Rininger and family on Sunday.

  I am getting moved back into my house after the flood with the help of my wonderful friends, neighbors and relatives. I could not make it without them. Thank you all.
