We really enjoyed SIILC second annual Switzerland County Health Awareness Community Fair Friday at Belterra. they had so much information and sample gifts plus the bigger gifts for the drawings. (I didn’t win again.) I went with Alberta Pickett and Judy Lozier and had a a wonderful time visiting with everyone else we knew. I’m looking forward to the next one.

The Shoe Factory Reunion will be April 13th at the Jack Sullivan Senior Citizen Center from 2-4 p.m. Help us spread the word to former employees, family and friends.

Glenda Sullivan, Faye Lewis, Jean Sandidge and Patty Chase enjoyed a girls day out in the rain Monday and Patty had a doctor’s appointment at the new building. Lake Rayls met her at the entrance and showed her where to go. It’s a big beautiful building. Tuesday Glenda took Patty back for a test and she had a nice visit with Janie (Sides) Stewart in the waiting room.

Alberta Pickett and Tiffany Rininger took Sharon Ballard to Madison Wednesday for her chemotherapy treatment. Sharon thanks Alberta for that.

Ed Trinkle called to say his brother Jack’s wife passed away just a few days ago. Some of the family was visiting in Indiana with relatives and left early Saturday morning to go back home to be with the family. Sympathy to the family.

Keep Bud Bowlin in your prayers. He and Sue live on the river in Florence next to the Jack and Sandi Kidwell house.

Corinne Martin’s dad, Clarence Nolan, of Madison was taken to the U of L Hospital after a fall last week. He came home Sunday. Keep him and the family in your prayers.

Denny and Diana Brown’s company last week was KC Banta, Shawn Auxier, Judy Bailey, Maysen Kelley, Angie Handlon, Audrey Marsh, James Bruce and Howard Hazeldean. Thanks to Howard for his craftsmanship on the front porch. They have waited 34 years to have a beautiful front porch. Semper Fi. Vaya con Dios. Also thanks to Shawn Auxier for all his help during the week.

Bonnie and Roy Duckworth and Cid and Elaine enjoyed Saturday in Jeffersonville and Clarksville shopping and dining at the Longhorn Steak House.

Patty Chase visited Phyllis Bush Saturday afternoon.

Casey, Sheila and Tiffany Rininger visited Brian Rininger and family in Cincinnati on the weekend.

Robert Coy called to get Lura Mae Smith’s phone number as he saw her name in the column. Lura Mae said they went all the way through school together and there are not many of that class left. She was glad to get his phone number from me and said she would call him.

Jerilyn Van Winkle called today to say she is going to the new King’s Daughters’ Hospital for tests today. Keep her in your prayers. She also said Molli would be starting a reality show and Norvin Breeck will be “Dancing with the Stars” at the Dick Clark Theater in Branson for charity. I will have more about it next week.

Ken and Sylvia Byars have a new addition to their lamb family. Beautiful little black twins. There will be many more soon. They will be really busy for a while.
