The Edwards family Christmas gathering was held January 17th at the lovely home of Harriet Bovard. A gigantic spread of food was prepared to feed all 32 people. Attending were Harriet Bovard, Jordan Bledsoe, Rosie Bovard, Carla Van Norstran, Jesse Dale Edwards, Angie and Steve Cole, Hillary, Maise and Mia Shuck, Susie Edwards, Harley and Haley, Alice and April Whitham, Kandy, Michael, Courtney and Andrew Powers, Patty and Phillip Haley, Daniel, Kara, Jaren, and Danika, Jacob Shuler, Margie and Jesse Edwards, Ami Thompson, Mark Purnell, Terry and Sue Jacobs. Gifts were passed out and gospel music was provided by Steve Cole and enjoyed by all. A special gift was given to Patty Haley from her brothers and sisters. As a child Patty always wanted a cash register. The family said she got one but she had no memory of it, in fact it w as always brought up. Finally a red 1950 Tom Thumb cash register was found and presented as a special gift to Patty. It made for a very special Christmas. The Edwards family are all descendants of Jesse and Mavis Edwards.
