Florence News


It’s a pretty Monday morning in Florence. I don’t have much news today. No one calls to give me any and I am getting to old to get out and find it If anyone wants to help me please call me or the paper office. I will be glad to help any one.

  Charles and Alberta Pickett visited with Frank Rininger and family on the weekend. Roy and Bonnie Duckworth camped at Clifty Falls on the weekend. Kaden, Kiersten and Kaege from Hanover visited them Saturday afternoon.

  Judy Lozier had lunch with LeAnn in Kentucky one day.

  Linda Jones, PJ Jones and Debby Barnes accompanied Betty Hargrove to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky for an out patient procedure. She did wonderful and the staff was great. She has received a lot of phone calls, flowers, cards and visits from friends and family and wants to thank everyone.

  Bud Hargrove fell in the garage. Betty took him to Dr. Frede to get him patched up.

  Patty Chase went with Glenda Sullivan to her doctor appointment in Madison on Tuesday, Glenda received a good check up report. They had lunch at Bob Evans. Later they visited with Tracy Seale at the Waters of Clifty Falls. Tracy’s other visitors this week were: Richard and Janet Sullivan, Clayton and Devin Seale and Steve and Judy Malone.

  Ken and Sylvia Byars, Judy Lozier, Nancy Johnson, Danilee Thompson, Gary, Karen and David Wentworth, Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Glenda Sullivan and Patty Chase had a good Sunday dinner at Mo’s.

  Bobby Brown has been in from Illinois visiting and helping Margaret Lee Weidmann while Lorraine is visiting family in California. Cheryl Messmore has been visiting them a few days and helping Margaret Lee. Her other company was Allen Devoe of Madison, Randy and Ryan Brown and Kay O’Neal. Thanks to Steve Bladen for the delicious chocolate cake that Margaret Lee said it almost broke her wrist it was so heavy and good.

  Denny, Mary Lou Bowman, Chuck and Alberta Pickett, Glenda Sullivan and Patty Chase had breakfast at Granny’s on Sunday.
