Steve and Glenda Fritter will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children. The open house will be held at the Swiss Inn in Vevay on November 18th from 1-5 p.m. Light appetizers and cake will be served. Friends and family are invited to attend. Please no gifts.

Roy and Bonnie Duckworth visited Bonnie’s dad Verle Truitt at the nursing home in Dillsboro on Sunday. Bonnie’s brother, Roger Truitt visited Verle and took him out for a visit in Rising Sun.

Judy Lozier visited LeAnn Lozier in Lexington, Kentucky on Wednesday and Saturday and had lunch. Thursday Judy and LoriAnn Lozier went to Lexington for a dental appointment.

I just got word on Monday morning that Mary Ruth Poling is in Dearborn County Hospital. I will find out more later. Prayers for her.

Glenda Sullivan and Patty Chase had breakfast at Bob Evans on Thursday and later visited Tracy Seale at the Waters of Clifty Falls. They took Tracy a sandwich and big cake from McDonald’s. Richard and Janet Sullivan was coming to see Tracy that evening.

Glenda and Patty also had a nice visit in Vevay with Teresa Turner and Betty York and with Sharon Coplan. Sharon is recovering from shoulder surgery a few weeks ago. Get well prayers for her. Get well prayers also for Tammy Sutherland and Lybbi Heffelfinger. Lybbi is recovering at home after several weeks in the hospital due to an auto accident. She is Denny and Mary Lou Bowman’s granddaughter.

Denny Bowman visited Patty Chase and helped her with some chores. Mary Lou was spending the night with Lybbi at the hospital.

Richard and Janet Sullivan of Westport went to Leesburg over the weekend for the first birthday of Rennlee Einhaus. She is the daughter of their grandson, Ryan and Nicole Einhaus.

Patty and Glenda had a nice visit and lunch with Bill and Mary Jewell in Vevay.

Casey, Sheila and Tiffany Rininger and Charles and Alberta Pickett went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee on Friday to meet Frank Rininger and his family for the weekend.

Patty Chase visited Rick Williams in Florence on Sunday to return the pictures of Florence he loaned the Florence birthday party a couple of weeks ago. He has many more pictures of the Florence Turtle Creek Harbor when his dad and Si Simmons were getting it started. I think Jack Kidwell and others helped with that too. Rick said we can get together some day and look at all the pictures.

Richard and Leona Adams enjoyed a few days driving and sight seeing down through Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina and other states.

Our sincere sympathy goes out to the family of Delcenia Courter. She was a good friend and will be missed.
