I had a nice visit by phone with Juanita Baer Sunday. She has been in the Dearborn County Hospital and the Fairfield Mercy Hospital for a serious heart condition. Gladys Bond has been in the LaGrange, Kentucky and Baptist East hospitals in Louisville. Ruth Lohide is recovering at home. Paul Ballard is recovering at home with Sharon’s help. Get well prayers for all of them and many more. Ed Trinkle called to ask about Ruth Lohide and others and said his brother Jack is improving but still needs our prayers.

We were very sorry to hear of the death of little Chanttelle Leah Mae Thomas. The 20-month-old daughter of Allisha Thomas and Joshua Howe lost her life in an automobile accident in Clark County, Indiana. She lived on Beatty Ridge near Florence. Allisha also was hurt and maybe others. Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Aurora Monday night and Tuesday. Contributions may be made to the Rullman Funeral Home in Aurora to defray expenses. Call 812-926-1450. We extend our sympathy to the family.
