Hello from Florence. I will try to do the news again. I am so busy taking therapy at Swiss Villa and trying to recover from my hip surgery and doing fairly well, but have a long way to go. I have gotten to visit with so many who come in for therapy at the same time I do. That therapy group at Swiss Villa is really great and I think they will get me back on the road soon.

I have visited with Cheryl McMillian from our Red Hat ladies. They had a dinner and all signed a card and sent get well wishes. My other visitors have been Nadine Swift from Ohio, Glenda Sullivan, Rita and Andrea Brogan, Jim Brogan and his mom Wilma, Denny and Mary Lou Bowman, Evelyn Davidson, Pauline Hall, Lisa Rieman, Leona Adams, Mary Jane Kincaid, Shirley Tingle, Earl Holmes, Traci Walston and Landon, Pam Ricketts, Dusty and Barbara Peaster, Linda Smith, Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Tracy (Hewitt) Nelson and Cody, David Martin, Charmin Brooks, PJ Jones and Annie, Judy Lozier, Mike Johnson, Agnes and Bob Wheeler, Larry Stewart, Ruth Lohide, Sylvia Byars, Charles and Alberta Pickett, Betty Hargrove, Linda Jones, Margaret Lee Weidmann and Lorraine Brown. Some of these people came to visit with me and others visited other people and all enjoyed everyone.

Got a nice call from Jim McSwain. He gave me Vera McSwain’s new address. She is in an assisted living center and would like to hear from her friends in Vevay. Her address is 8809 Madison Avenue, Apt 207 A, Building 7, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46227.

Jason Messmore had the second hip replacement at Dearborn County Hospital and he is doing very well. Get well wishes to him.

Cheryle Messmore attended senior night at East Central High School for Garren and Dillon Messmore. Paul Messmore also attended and he was happy to be there with his two ex-wives.

Our prayer list includes Pete Lowe, Dale Thompson, Patty Chase, Donnie Tinker, Billy Jewell and Sharon Patterson.

Happy 52nd Anniversary to Richard and Janet Sullivan of Westport.

Charles and Alberta Pickett went to the baby shower at the Florence Church of Christ on Saturday afternoon for Megan and Frank Rininger; and to the Heritage Hall at Rising Sun on Saturday evening for the wedding of Amber Fisk to Clinton Cole.

Roy and Bonnie Duckworth accompanied a group from the Kent Christian Church to the Ark Encounter near Williamstown, Kentucky on Saturday.

Sympathy to the Florence Holdcroft Family.
