Its beautiful weather here in October. A little warm — but I hear cool weather is on the way.
Saturday afternoon Richard and Janet Sullivan of Westport stopped by Glenda Sullivan’s for a visit and then went on to meet up with Squeaky and Jeanette Knaus at the Rising Sun Star for a nice meal.
Glenda Sullivan and Patty Chase had a nice visit with Harland and Lois Smith of Rising Sun at Bob Evans in Aurora on Thursday. Saturday evening Glenda and Patty had pizza at Roxano’s as guests of Denny and Mary Lou Bowman.
Margaret Lee Weidmann’s company was Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown, Kathleen Bolton and Kay O’Neal. Randy really enjoyed the Honor Fight to Washington, D.C. last week. He said he will always remember it.
Our friend Maggie Bowman who works in the Warsaw, Kentucky pizza place, had a birthday Sunday. Happy Birthday, Maggie.
Debbie Leap Barnes also had a birthday. Linda Jones said to say we saw you on Facebook and Happy Birthday. Also to Linda’s granddaughter Jasmin Jones. She was seven on Sunday. Happy birthday also to Danilee Thompson of North Vernon.
Betty Hargrove is doing very well with her eye surgery and will probably have the other eye done in a week or two. Bud and Betty’s company was Jerry Jewell, Linda Jones, PJ Jones and Annie and the kids. Linda has been taking her for her eye appointments in Madison.

It was nice to visit with Rhonda and Mark Scott at church on Sunday evening.
Alberta Pickett enjoyed the Aurora fair with her family on Saturday.
Jim and Rita Brogan spent two weekends in the Smoky Mountains. Alicia and Andrea joined them on weekend.
