Holiday visitors at Bud and Betty Hargrove’s were: Eddie Leap, Peggy and Darrell Stoll, Linda Jones, PJ Jones, Annie and the kids, Jerry Jewell and Jerry Bond.
Last week Herman Surber delivered a big 47 year anniversary cake to Bud and Betty Hargrove. They really enjoyed it with Linda Jones, PJ Jones and Annie and the kids and Jerry Jewell. Betty’s sister, Peggy Stoll called Betty and said she fell and broke her collar bone. Get well prayers for Peggy, also for Bud.
Get well also to Margaret Lee Weidmann. She is recovering at home. Patty Chase visited her Thursday while Cheryl Messmore, Lorraine Brown and Diana Brown were there. They had a good visit. Santa Claus left a big box of Belgian chocolates for Patty.
Get well to Pat Miller, Kay Cook, Lybbi and Torrie Heffelfinger and Danilee Thompson and Christy Knaus, and all in need.
Mark Scott visited his grandchildren in Vevay early Christmas morning. He also visited in Florence and stopped in to say hi to Patty Chase, as she was working at Fairway Inn, as he was on his way home in Kentucky for breakfast with Rhonda when she got in from work.
Happy Anniversary to Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, also for the 47th anniversary for Bud and Betty Hargrove and the 57th for Steve and Sharon Coplen.
Debbie and Eddie Gregory visited Jill, Neal, Jade and Juliana Smith Christmas Day near Aberdeen.
One of the best presents Patty got was pictures of two beautiful little girls, Jade and Juliana Smith – granddaughters of neighbors Ed and Debbie Gregory and children of Neal and Jill Gregory Smith.
Ray and Bonnie Duckworth visited her dad Verle Truitt at Dillsboro on Christmas Eve and with Marc and Tehya Duckworth and family in Kentucky. They visited Randy and Michelle McClure and children at Hanover Christmas Day. Melissa Duckworth called on Christmas Day.
Paul and Sondra Furnish and Jonas Keith’s company over the holiday was J.R. and Liz Turner and Josie and Hank, Shane and Ashley Turner, Linda Furnish, Peyton and Lane and their new baby born December 21st, named Cole Ryan, Congratulations.
Denny and Mary Lou Bowman spent Christmas Eve with daughter Amy and family at Dillsboro and spent Christmas Day with son Chris and family at Batesville.
