Hope the snow is gone for a while – but afraid not.

Judy Lozier, Nancy Johnson, Patty Chase, Ken and Sylvia Byars, Karen, Gary and David Wentworth, Charles and Alberta Pickett, Mark Scott, Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Glenda Sullivan, Peggy Sullivan all met at the Pines in Madison on Sunday for a delicious meal and to celebrate Patty’s birthday. We had a wonderful time.

Margaret Lee Weidmann is feeling better and her and all the family wants to thank everyone for the candy, calls and prayers and all the help they have been. Kay O’Neal is a faithful help to her. We send get well wishes.

Betty Hargrove is home from King’s Daughters’ Hospital after having the flu. Her family is staying with her while her husband Bud is in the hospital. Get well prayers for them. They thank Deby Barnes for all her help at the hospital.

Leona Adams’ daughter, Vicky Meyer from Texas is spending a few days with Leona and Richard. Leona’s sister Margaret Baker and daughter Karen are also visiting them.

Ken and Sylvia Byars visited Dale Thompson at a nursing home in Columbus Sunday. Danilee was not there at the time. Dale is improving and they had an enjoyable visit.

Patty Chase is thankful she had another birthday and thanks so many for the calls and cards. She especially likes the cards with the little plastic cards included. Thanks to the girls at Fairway Inn for the cake and cards and celebrations.

Happy January birthday also to Mo Moussa, Sam Bowman, Lane Kelly and all I missed.

Kay Cook said the Red Hat Ladies meeting last Thursday at Jewells On Main was really nice. Sorry I missed it.

I got a nice phone call from Ed Trinkle also Dolores Robinson and Jerry and Bernice Chase.
