Its a gloomy rainy Monday morning but I guess we need the rain.

  Judy Lozier and Ken Byars celebrated their birthdays on Sunday with the Florence Church of Christ bunch with a dinner at Butler Park, with Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Gary, Karen and David Wentworth, Nancy Johnson, Sylvia Byars, Glenda Sullivan, Patty Chase and Danilee Thompson. It was a great meal and fellowship. Judy and Ken said thanks to all.

  Beverly Davis of Madison visited Carolyn Lowe and attended the Florence Church of Christ on Sunday.

  Kay Cook visited Patty Chase a few times as they are planning a yard sale Friday at Patty’s.

  Judy Lozier celebrated her birthday on Saturday at her home with Nancy Johnson, LeAnn, LoriAnn and Jose. They had a good dinner and cake and ice cream. She got lots of cards and gifts.

  Denny and Mary Lou Bowman, Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Glenda Sullivan, and Patty Chase had a good breakfast at Granny’s in Vevay on Saturday morning. Charles and Alberta Pickett were not there. They had gone to the Smokies with their family and friends.

  Patty Chase and Glenda Sullivan had lunch at the Thirsty Lemon at East Enterprise Thursday. It is a nice restaurant with good food and friendly people running it.

  Danilee Thompson spent the weekend in Florence. Nancy Johnson, Judy Lozier and Danilee had supper at O’Charley’s in Florence, Kentucky Friday evening.

  Margaret Lee Weidmann’s company was Kay O’Neal, Lorraine and Ryan Brown, Betty Hargrove stopped in with a great birthday present. Margaret Lee’s nephew Ronnie Ackerman of Cincinnati called her with a nice call with what he thought was some great advice for her, Thanks Ronnie.

  I’m a little late with this news. Charles and Alberta Pickett and Tiffany Rininger attended the Romans Reunion Sunday, September 8th. They visited with about 120 cousins and the oldest being Stella (Romans) Bennett at 102. They present Vernon and Joyce Hatton Romans sends a large donation each year as they are unable to attend but wish to see the Reunion continue. It was a great reunion.
