Not much news from Florence. Everyone seems to be doing okay. We haven’t been going out much lately.
Charles and Alberta Pickett are both at the Swiss Villa Living Center for therapy. Charles is wanting to get out so he can go to the restaurants with his gang, but we told him they are closed right now except for carry out. I will also be glad when they open again.
I haven’t had anyone give me news lately. Denny and Mary Lou Bowman visited me a few times and helped me with some chores. Angie Chase also brings me groceries when she goes. She visited her mother in Madison and called to see if I needed anything from there. Many others are helping others too. We live in a good place with good friends and relatives all around.
Glenda Sullivan and Roy and Bonnie Duckworth also visited one day. Roy also came to help Denny set my TV up after I had a feature taken off of it that I couldn’t afford and didn’t watch that much anyway.
Glad to hear that Nathan Hughes is home from the hospital and doing okay.
Our prayer list includes: Jonas Keith, Frances Pike, Geneva Robinson, and Mark Scott’s daughter in Arizona recovering from COVID-19. Also Nadine Swift’s sister Debbie Bentle, Tracy Seale, and Glenda’s niece in Madison.
I had a nice visit with Betty Lucas at her lovely home in Vevay. Betty said she has retired after 52 years with the Health Department and four years with the Auditor.
Rita Brogan said Andrea and baby are home from he hospital and doing well. I hope to have more about them next week.
