Florence News 04/14/2022


  Good morning from the Florence area. It is a gloomy Monday morning. Hope it gets brighter. Since I am living at Switzer Square right now (and I love it here) I think I will go down town and get breakfast often. I didn’t get much news from Florence and need help with it so call me anytime at (812) 427-2299. Leave a message if I am not here and I’ll call you to get your news.

  The Florence Church group and friends Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Gary, Karen and David Wentworth, Ken and Sylvia Byars, Nancy Johnson, Judy Lozier and Glenda Sullivan had Sunday dinner at Mo’s. Denny and Mary Lou Bowman visited Patty Chase.

  On Friday Glenda Sullivan went to see Tracy Seale at the Waters of Madison. Tracy enjoyed the sandwich and fries and large Diet Coke. While Glenda watched two squirrels playing outside Tracy’s window. Eating the corn Squeaky Knaus and her dad, Richard keep int he feeders for them and the birds.

  Sympathy to the Jean Sandidge family on the death of her sister.

  Saturday morning Roy and Bonnie Duckworth and Glenda Sullivan had breakfast at Granny’s. Ginger helped Glenda decide what to drop off for Patty to have.
