Florence News 02/11/2021

Good morning from Florence. Its really pretty out this Monday as I write the news but its cold and will probably get colder. Its time for that though since its February.

Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Glenda Sullivan, Judy Lozier, Nancy Johnson and Sylvia Byars had Sunday dinner at Mo’s. Ken Byars is still in the hospital. Keep him in your prayers. Prayers also for Mike Poling, Sarah McCreary, Sue Turner and Chuck Pickett.

Sympathy to the Chris Sieglitz family as well.

Sympathy tot he Martha McKee family. We got to visit with them at Switzer Square while they came in for the funeral.

Nadine Swift, Cody, Smitty, Linda May Jones and Glenda Sullivan visited Patty Chase at Switzer Square.

Glenda Sullivan received a call during the week that her friend Pat Porter in Paducah, Kentucky had passed away. Pat lived in Mason, Ohio for years but moved to Kentucky a few years ago to be closer to her daughter. Pat was employed for U.S. Shoe in Cincinnati but traveled to other factories and had spent lots of time in Vevay. Sympathy to the family.

On Wednesday Tracy Seale and Chuck Pickett got a delivery at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison from Patty Chase and Glenda. On Saturday Mary Archer and Glenda made a quick trip to Madison so they went by the nursing home and Tracy was treated to a Dairy Queen Blizzard and her large Diet Coke.
