Not much news from Florence this week. The snow is about gone, but will probably get more.

  Kay Cook called me too say Mike Jones called her and said his cousin Eddie Trinkle passed away Sunday night at his home in Virginia. I went to school with Eddie and all his family, Vera, Jane, Libby Randall and Jack. They were good friends of our family and everyone in Vevay. Hazel and Hode were their parents. Mike Jones is a cousin.

  Bonnie Duckworth had a big birthday dinner at The Pines in Madison on Sunday. Attending was Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Mark Scott, Don Smith, Ken and Sylvia Byars, Casey, Sheila and Tiffany Rininger, Gary and Karen Wentworth, David Wentworth, Glenda Sullivan, Teresa Turner, Patty Chase and Charles Pickett. Had good food and a good time. Happy birthday!

  Roy and Bonnie Duckworth went to Cincinnati airport to pick up Randy, Michelle, Keirsten and Kaden McClure. They had been out West with friends to visit more friends.

  Floyd Wiltz is in from California visiting his sister Lorraine Brown and family. Happy birthday to Lorraine. Margaret Lee Weidmann’s company was Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown, Kathleen, Floyd Wiltz and Kay O’Neal. Cheryl Messmore spent Saturday in Bright with family and friends attending the grandchildren’s ball games.

  Our get well prayers go out to Judy Lozier, Colleen Lozier, Alberta Pickett, Joe Johnson, Larry Wentworth, Alice Heath, Bobby Martin and Danilee Thompson and Carolyn Lowe.

  Sympathy to the Don Allen family and the Larry Fair family.

  I had a nice phone call from Kim and Johnny Dale Lock. They live in Lafayette and said “hi” to all.
