Florence News 01/14/2021

Hello from Florence area. Since I am living in Vevay now we don’t have much Florence news today. Please call me with your news if you want it in the paper. We all enjoy reading about what you are doing in the Florence area and all around.

Patty got a nice phone call from Debbie Scudder Milan. She used to live in Florence and is now in North Carolina. She said she likes it there. I hope she calls again because I have lost her number, of course. Patty also got a call from Nadine Swift. Nadine has been really sick but said she is getting better. Patty also got a Senior picture from Nadine’s beautiful granddaughter, Isabella. She plans to graduate this year in California.

Patty’s nephew Denny and Mary Lou Bowman also call just to check on her and see if she needs them to bring her anything. Thank you.

We send our sympathy for long time Florence lady Alberta “Wiley” Pickett. She was a good friend and a faithful member of the Florence Church of Christ. Her husband Charles “Chuck” Pickett is in a local nursing home. Keep him and the family in your prayers.

Betty Jean Chase also a good friend to all passed away. She was a good person and a relative to our family.

Sympathy also to the families of Bobby Bolden and Steve Sieglitz.

On Sunday those that had lunch at MiViejo in Madison were Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Ken and Sylvia Byars, Nancy Johnson, Judy Lozier and Glenda Sullivan.

Get well prayers and concerns for Mary Archer, Karen Wentworth, Martha McKee and Helen Parks.
