Here’s a look at the textbook/technology pricing for the 2018-2019 school year for Switzerland County Schools.
Again this year the Switzerland County School Endowment Corporation is paying a portion of all textbook rental fees. For the coming school year, the endowment is paying 60-percent of the total fees.
• KINDERGARTEN: Total rental fee is $173.77. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $104.26; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $69.51.
• 1st GRADE: Total rental fee is $183.59. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $110.15; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $73.44.
• 2nd GRADE: Total rental fee is $178.54. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $107.12; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $71.42.
• 3rd GRADE: Total rental fee is $210.75. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $126.45; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $84.30.
• 4th GRADE: Total rental fee is $211.40. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $126.84; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $84.56.
• 5th GRADE, WITHOUT BAND: Total rental fee is $210.32. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $126.19; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $84.13.
• 5th GRADE, WITH BAND: Total rental fee is $215.05. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $129.19; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $86.13.
• 6th GRADE, WITHOUT BAND: Total rental fee is $216.21. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $129.73; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $86.48.
• 6th GRADE, WITH BAND: Total rental fee is $221.21. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $132.73; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $88.48.

• 8th GRADE, WITHOUT BAND: Total rental fee is $341.77. After the endowment pays 60-percent of that total, $205.06; parents/guardians will be paying 40-percent of the fees, which is $136.71.
