The Vevay Police Department has announced that it has made another drug-related arrest here.
On Tuesday, May 29th at approximately 12:20 a.m., the Vevay Police Department received information about possible drug activity at an apartment located at 513 Pearl Street.
Police chief James Richards said that upon arrival at the location, officers observed narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside the apartment.
At that point, officers executed a search warrant for 513 Pearl Street, Apartment #2, and as a result of that warrant, methamphetamine, multiple medical syringes, scales, marijuana, prescription medications, and various other items of drug paraphernalia were seized.
Officers then arrested John D. Osborn, 57, on charges of dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony; possession of syringe, a Level 6 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
Osborn is being held in the Switzerland County Detention Center.
The Vevay Police Department was assisted at the scene by members of the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police.
