Dru Morgan was crowned as the 2005 Switzerland County High School “Queen of Hearts” on Sunday afternoon, earning the crown from a field of 14 contestants.
The pageant is sponsored each year by the Switzerland County FFA chapter, and is part of the chapter’s community service project.
Each of the candidates is asked to select a particular platform for the pageant, with the FFA chapter taking on the cause of the winning contestant’s platform during the coming year. The chapter earns money for the platform and also dedocates time to helping with the program.
