The Switzerland County Highway Department would like to inform the public about work that will be done on Detour Road in Switzerland County.
Switzerland County Highway Superintendent Edd Cook wants the public to know that Detour Road will be closed to traffic this Monday through Thursday, September 12th-15th.
During that time, with weather permitting, the road will be graded, paved and burmed. Please avoid this area until the work is finished.
Everyone knows how important this road has become with the ongoing work on State Route 129.
